7Semi FFC FPC 30 Pin Adapter Board PCB 0.5mm
7Semi FFC FPC 30 Pin Adapter Board PCB 0.5mm
The 7Semi FFC/FPC 30-Pin Adapter Board is a passive breakout PCB designed to convert a 30-pin flexible flat cable (FFC/FPC) with 0.5 mm pitch into a standard 2.54 mm (0.1") header or solder-pad layout. It allows smooth interfacing of FFC-based modules such as displays, camera sensors, or other flat-cable peripherals with breadboards, perfboards, or custom PCBs, making prototyping and wiring much simpler.
Technical Specifications:
- Supported Connector: 30-pin FFC / FPC cable (0.5 mm pitch)
- Breakout Format: All 30 lines routed to 2.54 mm spaced header pins or pads / through-hole pins
- Board Type: Passive adapter / breakout PCB (no active components)
- Mounting Options: Standard 0.1" header pins or solder pads/traces for wiring
- Compatibility: Enables connection of FFC modules with standard microcontroller boards, development boards, and custom PCB designs without dedicated FFC footprint
Features:
- Adapter converts small-pitch 0.5 mm FFC/FPC to standard 2.54 mm pin spacing — ideal for breadboard/perfboard prototyping
- Supports 30 signal lines — suitable for larger or more complex FFC interfaces (e.g. displays, cameras, multi-signal peripherals)
- Simplifies wiring and integration of FFC modules with microcontrollers or SBCs
- Compact adapter board — minimal additional footprint while adding flexibility
- Option to use header pins for plug-and-play modules or solder pads/traces for fixed wiring
Applications:
- Connecting 30-pin FFC modules (displays, cameras, sensors) to microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
- Prototyping and development when a custom PCB with FFC footprint is not ready or practical
- Embedded projects requiring bridging between flat-cable peripherals and standard pin-out systems
- DIY electronics, hobbyist and maker projects using FFC peripherals
- Rapid prototyping of display, camera, or sensor-based modules before final PCB design
- Small-scale manufacturing or pilot runs where flexibility and modular design is needed
