This shield is designed for Arduino Uno and similar variation boards is a prototype expansion board used to build prototype circuits. The components can either be directly soldered on the board or can connect the circuit above the mini breadboard. An adhesive double sided tape on the breadboard is used to mount it over the circuit board which are separate when sold.
